We specialize in a broad range of Massage Modalities so you can rest assured you will get the benefits you seek from massage therapy

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the client’s pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release. Sessions are meant to be more therapeutic and results oriented than luxurious and relaxing. Trigger point therapy is best suited for people who have injuries, chronic pain, or a specific issue or condition.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses specific scents from essential oils in order to enhance the massage session. Essential oils are chosen based on the needs of the client to relieve stress and is typically used in conjunction with swedish massage. Aromatherapy can help boost your mood, reduce anxiety, and encourage emotional healing.

Swedish

Swedish massage targets muscles, glands, nerves, and circulation to produce various health benefits. It is a gentle yet effective way to help release knots and promote full body relaxation.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. It directly supports the lymphatic system which helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is used to treat chronically tight muscles, strains, and injury. The therapist targets the deeper layers of muscles and the connective tissues to promote healing.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a targeted form of massage for athletes, typically given before, during and after events. It helps relieve swelling, reduce tension, improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and reduce fatigue with the goal to improve the athletes performance.

Myofascial

Myofascial massage targets the body’s connective tissues (fascia) that surround your muscle and bones. The sustained pressure applied to these areas is meant to release the restriction in the connective tissue so that you have greater range of motion and less pain. Pressure is maintained for 3-5 minutes at a time in the targeted area. The fibers must be allowed sufficient time to soften and stretch. No lubricant is added to the skin.

Acupressure

Acupressure massage is often likened to acupuncture without the needles. Instead of using needles, the therapist uses deep finger pressure to simulate the energy. Like acupuncture, it applies pressure to specific parts of the body to remove blockages in energy.

Cupping

Cupping is a safe, traditional treatment that can help resolve chronic muscle tightness and pain faster than massage therapy alone. The cups use negative energy (suction) to pull tissue and bring blood to the treatment area.

GUA SHA / Scraping

Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese treatment method in which a smooth edged tool is used on the skin along with pressure. This motion raises small, red, rash-like dots that show under your skin called petechiae. This treatment is aimed at improving circulation and decreasing pain.

Infant Massage

The practice of infant massage combines caregiving, communication, play and intimacy between parent and baby. Research supports a link between infant massage to many of the most critical areas of bonding.

Prenatal

Prenatal massage is a nurturing massage that focuses on the special needs of mothers-to-be during pregnancy. Positioning, pillows, and cushions are used to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both body and mind. Mother and baby share in the benefits as stress and tension melt away, leaving you feeling balanced and energized.
